I first got into the idea of pretty scents and the excitement that comes with being the one to make these types of things when I was young taking cello lessons in the trendy college town on Saturdays where it was a treat to go shopping at the local boutiques downtown.

As we all deal with the transitioning moments in our lives. I too have been learning and delving into new adventures and exploring new insights in what is popular in the industry as well as new products on the market and things I find fascinating. Fascinating New Herbs  

I know that sometimes depending on your location there may be certain products that are more readily available. Supply and demand I'm sure are a part of it but as we are all collectively connected I find it fascinating that certain herbs or remedies seem to become more available as they are obviously something that our plant friends are here to help us all with and provide health benefits needed in order to help us heal and restore balance.

Moringa has been a new herb that I have increasing seen on the market.  

             ~It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. This herb helps reduce blood sugar levels, and inflammation, and reduce cholesterol. It aids healthy metabolism and digestion when you have a mild tummy ache, as well as benefits the immune system and helps the body's ability to fight infection.

Fascinating facts about Florida Water

 Originally introduced as a perfume it the early 1800’s by perfumer Robert Murray.  Its sweet floral citrus smell was considered pleasant to both male and female. Whenever I hear the term “Florida water” I think of it as if it’s some magical elixir that could very well have some sort of healing properties. In fact, apparently its has Elements of purification and a renewal of positive energy, and is often used in rituals to cleanse negative energy and be a way to enhance psychic abilities and connection to the divine.

I associate it with something like, holy water or thieves’ oil as its spiritual effects associated with the power of belief not only lend to its uses and effectiveness just as much as its actual herb concoction and mixture.

Florida Water Is usually a herbal citrus spice blend that one can use as a uplifting splash that can cool you and boost your mood and well as having protective and cleansing properties.

​I look for what's real ...

 the spring equinox is a time of year to celebrate the

renewal, rebirth, and growth. 

​

I was shown this what I call "the egg trick" and have ​​

always admired the beauty of the simple but real magic

of this truth.

​

There are two times a year when the earths axis is tilted

in such a way to allow a equal amount of  daylight and

darkness across all latitudes allowing for a certain kind

of balance. 

​

If you were to balance an egg upright on a level surface

at the precise time of the equinox it would balance

upright for some time. I found this to be quite

fascinating and a simple pleasure that can be observed

on this particular day.

This is also a great time to cleanse stagnant energies by making to-do lists, cleansing with sage, and the usual spring house cleaning. Also a magnificent time to tend to the garden and be a steward to the natural world around you. A great time to gather and burn bush piles and make way for the new good seeds to grow, but do be aware that this is also the time of which animals prepare homes for their young, birds start their new nest and when the Wildflowers begin to grow.  ​
